The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing & Strategy will be responsible for developing comprehensive digital strategies for marketing artist releases from Label Services artists and label clients.  To efficiently and effectively manage all aspects of online marketing for an assigned roster of projects, as supervised by Senior Director, Digital Marketing & Strategy. Liase with the marketing, press, and digital sales departments in the company (and any hired, third party companies) in conjunction with Label Services artists and label clients to maximize the potential for each project’s success.  To find innovative and cost-effective ways to brand Label Services artists and label clients with associated online partners, including content development and management, grassroots community building and marketing, and lifestyle outlets. Required to set goals and manage campaigns in an effort to optimize reach and revenue. Responsible for managing and interpreting departmental reports and partner data.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Develop digital marketing timelines & campaign strategies to successfully grow music streams, video views, social media engagement, and an overall digital creative vision for ADA label services partners
  • Conceive & manage digital advertising plans for Label Services artists and label clients
  • Work in conjunction with department head and ADA Digital Sales team on marketing drivers to support opportunities with streaming services. Analyze consumption patterns on a track or artist level to inform tailored social campaigns to drive streaming
  • Assist with the creation, build, and editing of online properties where applicable (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr, official website and other sites appropriate to artists and label)
  • Work with in-house & third-party content creators to conceptualize & complete lyric videos, portraits & live photos, 3D animations, short-form content for social media, etc. (while identifying new creators on an on-going basis)
  • Recommend new digital tools and partnerships for Label Services artists and label clients, including both platforms, insights, and marketing tools, as well as partnerships with upcoming sites/services.
  • Provide ideas & strategy for online contesting & sweepstakes, partnerships with social media organizations, and new online content that is optimized for all distribution networks & delivers on identified goals
  • Build and manage new and ongoing relationships with online partners, affiliates, and influencers as they relate to grassroots marketing
  • Prepare & analyze marketing summaries across all online properties, to internal departments and label partners and others as needed; ensure audience development and growth with measurable positive online engagement

Mute is looking for a full time Director of Radio Promotion to work out of our NYC office. Ideal candidate has 1+ years of radio experience, focusing on college / non-commercial AAA, alternative Specialty, dance / electronic and Satellite radio.

  • Develop and supervise all radio marketing and promotion campaigns throughout the US and Canada

Domino Recording Company is seeking a Publicity Coordinator based in our Brooklyn, NY office. This position reports to both the Head of Publicity & Communications in Los Angeles and the Publicist based in New York. The position will be tasked with working across both their artist rosters, in addition to providing department support.

We are seeking an individual who has great interpersonal skills, is a self-starter and has the ability to work in an open and creative group environment. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, strong musical knowledge, a good handle on the existing music media, and an awareness of the ever-changing music marketplace. Essential to the role is a desire to understand how music publicity plays a role in the larger record release ecosystem.

The candidate must come with some (one to three years) experience working in music and/or publicity and must be familiar with the North American media landscape.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Provide overall support to Head of Publicity & Communications and NYC Publicist
– Maintain and expand on current PR databases with focus on strengthening tour markets, online & print lists, and new media (e.g. podcasts)

Position Purpose:

Provide Product Management and head up marketing campaigns for half of the Fearless Records and Razor & Tie roster.

Core Responsibilities:

* Responsible for all elements of product management working closely with each department to create effective marketing campaigns from inception through end of cycle

* Create, implement and drive creative & effective marketing campaigns tailored specifically for each artist to enhance and build on their creative vision

Outline of Specific Functions:

1.Product Management duties

* Work closely with each Fearless and CMG department to ensure each is effective and on track – creative, production, digital marketing, publicity, sales, international, synch

* Work closely with Label Liaison to create and implement artist streaming strategy

New York company Kemado Group is seeking a full-time Social Media Manager under its Mexican Summer & Anthology Recordings record Labels as well as Anthology Editions publishing. The Social Media manager at our organization will work closely with Project Managers, Sales and Marketing Directors, as well as the label Creative Directors to develop campaign strategy for each record, book and event we launch. Crafting original and compelling copy is central to the day to day scope, and organizational skills are a must. Plan to attend local concerts and events to maintain an actively engaged social presence in our community. Past experience in social media services a plus, as well as personal circles of influence and influencers. Candidates will be considered on writing samples and test social engagements.

Job Description:
• Manage the social media presence across platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr for Mexican Summer, Anthology, and Marfa Myths. Include other networks as applicable (Google+, Snapchat, etc.)
• Develop newsletters and website news posts. Work with Web Manager to ensure brand and products are properly represented across company sites. • Develop and maintain social media calendar to proactively schedule and track what should be highlighted and when.
• Work with Project Managers and Sales team to design and deliver impactful social media campaigns (inclusive of exact messaging & content) for album and book releases as well as label branding initiatives.
• Monitor and respond to conversations on our social media channels, calling out any issues that need to be addressed.

• Conduct regular competitive analyses on other labels, artists, and book publishers.
• Engage with communities across social media platforms with a focus on growing the fan base for our artists and labels.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Sales, and Creative teams on campaign strategy, creative direction, and copy for each release.
• Develop long-lead campaign strategy for each new release and report on its effectiveness following release date.
• Coordinate with Website and Project Managers to help book online advertising campaigns.
• Create and disseminate monthly and quarterly social media analytics reports, working with the Web Manager and Sales team to report on the effectiveness of digital initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:
• 1-2 years experience managing social media accounts in an agency or client setting
• Email marketing platform (preferably MailChimp)

Position summary:
This individual will play a key role in our marketing efforts in a fast paced and constantly evolving digital music landscape. Familiarity with the label, our fan base and our artists’ music as well as a general passion for music is essential. Ability to stay organized, manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize a heavy workload independently in a busy work environment is a must. Candidate should also have experience with relevant and emerging social media networks, digital platforms and culture.

Responsibilities:

• Work with key staff members to develop, execute and implement exciting and effective marketing campaigns and timelines.
• Interface with artists, managers, publicists, booking agents, radio promotion and other 3rd party partners.
• Create weekly detailed reports of all marketing work and updates on individual campaigns to be shared with Stones Throw staff and our partners at distribution, DSPs, external marketing agencies and artist management.
• Create one sheets and sales updates.
• Develop and implement digital advertising and online strategies.
• Analyze and quantify success and efficiency of digital advertising, social engagement and conversion and partnerships via various analytics tools.
• Develop and maintain contacts in the creative services (e.g. video directors, videographers, photographers, designers, etc.) and oversee creation of creative content including music videos, online campaigns and other promotional marketing assets.
• Update basic web (html) and social media.
• Pitch and develop creative ideas for campaigns including online ads, posters, stickers, press angles, merchandise, live shows, etc.
• Manage playlisting strategies and analysis of streaming data.
• Develop marketing partnerships to align label and artists with brands and their music programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with partners outside of the traditional music retail sphere, including new media platforms, brand partnerships and lifestyle marketing.

Requirements:

• Contacts in music and related industries including press, radio, booking agencies, brands, tastemakers, etc.
• Contacts in the creative services arena (e.g. video directors, videographers, photographers, designers, etc.)
• Resourceful at working within independent label budgets.
• Though not required, basic online/digital/design skills would be considered a plus.

Mascot Label Group is an international independent record label specializing in rock, blues, prog, and metal genres. We’re looking for an in-house publicist for our Manhattan office.

Our ideal candidate is a creative music enthusiast who is: reliable, honest, hardworking, team player and a self-starter, who works well under pressure and is pleasant to be around.

What we require:

* Minimum 10 years experience doing music publicity I.E. handling marketing/PR campaigns for musical recording artists
* Must be able to lead press campaigns on various releases across all our labels
* Existing contacts and experience in press, marketing and digital, with strong relationships with key press (TV, radio, and print). Rock, Alternative, and AAA/Non-Com background a plus
* Prior experience writing press releases and assembling press materials
* Experience booking late night television, as well as national PBS & NPR
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all types of personalities including prior experience dealing with executives, talent and senior media members
* Strong critical thinking skills and ability to formulate tailored and effective pitches
* Ability to negotiate maximum media coverage
* Effective planning and strategizing skills
* Must be local to NY and be able to work in our NY office
* Social media savvy
* Strong resume/references
