Job Description
We are looking for a full-time experienced Web and Interactive Designer to lead the visual design of our various products, including multiple websites and mobile applications. This person would work with the User Experience Lead and Product Managers to produce designs for new features, new functionality, and new products offered by the company – to ensure everything is intuitive, functional, consistent, and beautiful. While focused on visual design, the role also requires interaction design and user experience design skills and experience in enterprise-level workflows and development. If you’ve designed an app that made it into a top list for the iPhone, or award-winning websites and digital systems, we’d love to hear from you!

Qualifications
– 4-6+ years experience working on the visual design of digital products and interactive experiences
– Strong familiarity with app (iOS, Android, tablet) and responsive web design
– Expertise with Sketch, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
– Comfort working in an agile process with quick turnarounds
– Ability to own designs and work independently while incorporating feedback and requirements from team members
– Strong skills with interactive design, including UI/UX experience
– Experience designing complex systems, including content management systems and other backend/administrative digital systems.
– Experience with rapid prototyping, through dedicated applications and/or HTML/Javascript, is a plus
– BA/BS or equivalent college degree – major in design or related field preferred but not mandatory
– A background of design for eCommerce sites and apps is preferred.

Bloodshot Records seeks full-time Media Publicist / New Media Radio Promoter to work in our Chicago office.

We’re looking for someone who can develop tailored new media radio and streaming service publicity campaigns for each release, and handle tour press and tour radio promotion. Duties include radio servicing and tracking, streaming service pitching, along with tour radio and tour press operations. Duties may also include creating content, making podcasts, setting up video/audio sessions and initiating promotions. Candidate must have at least two years of paid work experience in online publicity and/or new media radio promotion or streaming service marketing.

The applicant must be curious about and skilled at navigating the internet and its communities, and know Word, Excel, FileMaker, basic home audio & video recording, photo editing and formatting, Photoshop, how to compress PDF files, rip hi-quality MP3s and tag them and prepare for upload.

The candidate needs to be self-directed and extremely comfortable working independently, however they need to work well as part of a three person publicity department. We need someone who is outgoing, organized, a great writer, witty, and level-headed. The ideal person is passionate about much of the music on the label and assumes it’s their mission connect it to fans (both known and potential fans). Strong indie ethics and a degree in Communications, IT, English, or Journalism are a plus.

The Yep Roc Music Group Social Media Project Manager is the eyes, ears and voice of the YRMG, its label partners and artists in the social media field. Duties include:

Post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram daily, and help create post ideas for Snapchat, Instagram story
Post on time, consistently, and manage any comments and sharing, analyze data and feedback from postings
Knowledge of calendars, National [insert topic] days, utilize trending hashtags, live tweet certain music events (via 6/8 Records)
Advertising knowledge and advertising campaigns on social media, analyzing the data for future success
Create and manage Pinterest account
Awareness of new websites, apps, and platforms that are on the cutting edge of social media and that can help our brand
Out of the box ideas for artist Saniyé and her social media posts
Clever, witty, engaging captions for all posts, with the appropriate hashtags

Skills:
Must have at least 3-5 years experience with social media planning and managing
Must have experience in digital marketing
Must have access to a computer and mobile devices
Must be 21+ to come Saniyé’s performance in order to manage social media posting during performance
Must be communicative, assertive, organized and confident to bring forth different and creative ideas for marketing
Must have a flexible “after-hours” schedule for live tweeting events
Must have experience with Microsoft Office and Google Drive, knowledge of Buffer, Hootsuite, and other social media managing platforms

Job functions
