Production/Inventory Coordinator

ABKCO currently has an exciting Production/Inventory Coordinator position. If you are an energetic and dynamic individual who takes initiative and is a team player this position is for you. The ideal candidate for this position could be a recent college graduate with one to two years of prior experience working in a Production and or inventory role and have majored/minored in Music Business and or Finance. This position will be responsible for the monitoring all inventory and planning processes for existing and new product configurations which include Compact Disc, DVD, Blu-Ray and Vinyl Records.

Job functions
• Handle all manufacturing orders from start to finish
• Build relationships and interface with manufacturing vendors
• Participate in vendor specific meetings, both internal and external
• Produce and distribute delivery report for assigned street dates
• Determine inventory requirements for new release
• Participate in key meetings pertaining to new release titles
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team to assist with gathering new release information in order to improve forecast accuracy and product availability
• Provide manufacturing and distribution with forecasted shipment needs in order to assist with inventory and manufacturing planning
• Processing purchase orders and invoices
• Monthly billing/closing

Job Requirements
• Experience in consumer products, wholesale, retail, or manufacturing environment
• Ability to analyze data and trends, make educated conclusions based upon data and execute transactions driving real results
• Demonstrate skills and abilities to analyze inventory data and make reasonable recommendations
• Working knowledge of Supply Chain analytical concepts
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Strong organizational skills including prioritization and follow through
• Ability to work under pressure while keeping an eye for detail
• Proficiency with MS Office products including Excel (Pivot tables a plus)

LOCATION: At A2IM’s headquarters offices in New York, NY

Responsibilities: The Analyst & Systems Administrator is the lead resource for all technology, systems, data and analytics needs for A2IM. The A&SA will guide system and tool selection, execute effective integration and streamlining of tools. This person strives to understand the unique needs of each function at A2IM, the needs of the board, and the overall mission and service to member companies, and develops and delivers accurate real time business intelligence to support the core decision making, member services, events and advocacy activities of the organization.

Specific duties include
• Assess the needs of the organization and its current technology stack.
• Drive toward a single entry, secure, scaled system that allows for member transactions to flow directly from member website into the CRM. Leverage APIs to streamline the flow of data between systems such as CRM and accounting.
• Select, configure, update, and refine communications systems that facilitate mass communication with members, including text, email, newsletter and video conferencing for hundreds of member participants at a time.
• Automate and integrate core functions such as invoicing, renewals, event RSVPs and registrations, and basic troubleshooting of these member facing information and communication systems.
• Develop business intelligence dashboards that are streamlined, automated and actionable. These reports should encompass data from traditionally disparate systems such as CRM, accounting, member engagement, social media, media coverage, event attendance, event ticketing systems and surveys. Support the board, the CEO and the staff with reporting and intelligence that supports higher quality more timely decision making.
• Advance the functionality of the A2IM website to support member engagement and new member acquisition.
• Optimize the website for compatibility on all major browsers, mobile and tablet devices. Ensure quality and reliability of web presence.
• Partner with marketing and publicity on SEO and other technical means to support marketing and outreach efforts.
• Ensure data and system security and disaster recovery.
• Manage project management software and oversee all project deadlines ensuring they are met.

Required Skills and Experience

• BS degree in software, computing, data science, computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven hands on system administration and integration skills.
• Experience assessing technology and business intelligence needs for a small organization.
• Track record of making good software, cloud and vendor selections.
• Transparent, collaborative professional who can represent the values and mission of A2IM internally with colleagues and the board, and externally with members and vendors.
• Strong writing, general written and verbal presentation and interpersonal skills.

The Product Manager is the point person for the day-to-day of release campaigns from inception to completion and serves as the labels’ point person for the recording artist and their team (management, publicist, booking agent, etc.). The main duty of a product manager is the oversight of the logistics of a given project. You will be responsible for securing radio airplay for a wide variety of artists on the Beggars Group roster for a select group of stations. Must be comfortable on the phones, (the job is 75% phone based) and in large meetings. Experience in the indie sector a must, programming history at a good college radio or AAA radio a huge plus (still), generally an omnivorous and deep knowledge and understanding of all music but especially underground, alternative and indie label releases of the past 30 years in all genres, from punk rock to hip hop to electronic and all associated genres. This is a promotions job but it requires you to be able to “sell” our artists for airplay on various types of stations, but primarily Non-Comm & College radio (i.e. WFUV/New York, WXPN/Philadelphia, KCRW/Los Angeles, KEXP/Seattle)

Attention to detail is a must, and you must be an extraordinary multi-tasker. Please dont say that you are be prepared to show me HOW you are this person. Also will be required to travel the US for various radio meetings, coordinate meet and greets, plan sessions at radio stations and plan promo trips for artists in the markets where your radio stations are.
